Picker machine for cuttings BRP\OR
This cutting picker is suitable for picking up strawberry cuttings on the straw between mother plants standing on a (plastic-covered) back.
Operating procedure
The disc coulters at the front of the machine cut the tendrils loose from the mother plants. The protruding pins on the screening belt pick up the tendrils from the ground and transport them upwards. At the top, the pins drop out of the sieving belt so that the tendrils are not taken back with them. The plants land via the side discharge conveyor on the neighbouring wagon. The height is adjusted by the tractor's lifting device. The steerable rear axle allows short manoeuvres at the headland. Everything is controlled by a push-button box in the tractor.
