This plant lifter is suitable for lifting strawberry plants, asparagus plants, perennials and certain types of nursery plants.

Operating procedure

The height-adjustable articulated drawbar determines the lifting depth. The soil and plants enter the pin conveyor via the movable knife and the harvester roller. Some of the soil falls away at the lifting roller. The rest of the plants will be pulled out of the soil by the pin conveyor. The plants will be transported further up to the sieving belt. This sieving belt contains 3 rocker hammers to shake out the last soil from the plants. The plants are transported by means of a side discharge conveyor at the back onto the neighbouring wagon. The side discharge conveyor contains a diverter valve at the end. The diverter valve allows all corners of the wagon to be filled.
The planter includes a steerable wheel axle for sharp headland manoeuvring. The whole unit is controlled via a push-button box in the tractor.
