This plant lifter is suitable for lifting strawberry plants, asparagus plants, perennials and certain types of nursery plants.

Operating procedure

The height-adjustable drawbar is used to determine the harvesting depth. The soil and plants enter the short pinned sieve belt via the vibrating knife. The speed of this pinned sieve belt is linked to the driving speed, so the soil with plants remains contiguous. At the end of the short pinned belt, the plants fall onto the long pinned sieve belt thus separating the plants from the soil. The plants will be transported upwards to the sieve belt. This sieve belt contains 3 rockers to shake the last soil out of the plants. The plants are transported by means of a side discharge conveyor at the back onto the neighbouring trailer. The side discharge conveyor contains a kink in the middle and a diverter valve at the end. With the kink and diverter valve, all corners of the trailer can be filled.
The planter includes a steerable wheel axle for sharp headland manoeuvring. The whole unit is controlled via a display in the tractor.
